1. Code The Dream

Code The Dream has an in-house developer shop where students can learn how to code alongside mentors. Some of the recent work includes:

  • A customizable, real-time legislative tracker for a growing startup
  • An online tool for health care providers treating domestic violence survivors
  • An app to notify rural farmworkers of natural disasters
  • A rideshare app for homeless families

Code the Dream (CTD) provides free training in software development followed by the opportunity to apply for a paid apprenticeship, during which students create mobile and web technologies for a wide range of nonprofits and businesses.

2. The Disruptors

The “Disruptors” is an annual fellowship for emerging television writers of color who identify as trans and non-binary, disabled, or undocumented/formerly undocumented immigrants. This 3-month fellowship includes mentorship, community building, professional development, master classes, and a $6,000 stipend.

3. The National Scholarship

The scholarship is for highly motivated undocumented students with significant, unmet financial needs.
